Annie has over 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry. After graduating from the University of York, she began her career as a Sales Representative with Reckitt & Coleman in the UK. Annie then joined Bayer UK as a Sales Representative and rapidly was promoted to a Teaching Hospital Sales Specialist, Regional Trainer and Teaching Hospital Manager. During this time she also completed her MBA at Leeds University. She took up the role of Scientific Affairs Manager in the UK after a secondment to work in the United States and was then promoted to International Scientific Affairs Manager with Bayer AG, and relocated to Germany. In 2000, Annie returned to the UK and established herself as a consultant to both the pharmaceutical industry and to a number of established agencies.

Annie’s main areas of expertise are strategic publication planning, development of primary abstracts, posters and clinical papers, supplement development, advisory boards and organising symposium.

With over 20 years experience working with Bayer at a national and international level, Annie has an understanding of both industry and market needs. Her main interest lies in the anti-infectives field; both antibiotics and vaccines. She has good relationships with many key opinion leaders and publishing houses and also works as a consultant to the Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy.
